Hot Work Vac Cart

There is a new article posted under the Tools tab. I built a work cart for doing torch work in my shop. Also outside of my shop if I need too. It is a metal push cart with fire bricks on the top. I have wanted one of these for quite awhile. Now I have a safe place to do high temperature metal w...

Lost Wax Ramblings

What I really want to do is get into my wax carving and lost wax casting. I want to live up to my motto: "Doing what I love for those who love what I do." Kiln

Wasn't sure what topic to post this under. Casting & Molds will do for now. I may start a new topic and tab as I find more uses for a kiln. I bought this kiln so I could do lost wax casting and use it to remove the wax and set the mold investment in its flask. The casting process is done with a ...b2ap3_thumbnail_kiln1.JPG

Wiring Around the Corner

What's this? A picture of nothing? Looks like I have been cornered. What you see here is how I extended a single 120v, 20A circuit from near the ceiling to a more usable location. I never completely understood why the builder installed a 20A single outlet so close to the ceiling. The breaker ...b2ap3_thumbnail_DSC03656.jpg
