The green is the knot carved in wax and the shiny one is the knot after it has been cast into silver and polished up. Actually a little more work than just polish.The silver may last forever! Well, it IS an eternity Knot. Yeah, the picture of the wax knot is all there is. The wax didn’t last an eternity. It is “lost” forever.Here are the other two silver pieces I have cast in the lost wax process. The photo on the right is the Celtic “Trinity” knot. I haven’t cast this yet.
