Setting the Stage About My 3D Printing
I want to make something very clear about my jump into 3D printing. I am very much a "Johnny-Come-Lately" I am professing I am no way an expert. All I knew when I started was what I could read from the sidelines. At first the cost was prohibitive. The field has been growing very rapidly and that has helped drive the cost of ownership to a reasonable level. At least reasonable for me and where I started. Yes, I have started at last. Better late then never... or is it never too late?
So this blog and Ramblin Dan Workshop is just a story of my progress and what I am learning as I progress. If you are reading this you can learn from my mistakes. I will admit to most of them. Mostly I will talk about how fun it is to play with CNC and 3D graphics that can become real objects.
I am not planning for this to become A GO-TO resource all about 3D printing. There are already too many of them, but that is good. If this website does anything, I hope it is to inspire others to try some of the stuff I do. That's my mission as I see it.
