Shop Vice

I posted some new pictures of myself in the workshop. I like to update them occasionally. I do age but constantly get better looking. Hey! leave an old man to his fantasies.

I was looking at the new picture on the first page. I have my right arm up close to my red bench vice. That trusty tool has been with me for many years. I think it was on the first bench I ever built. It's performed a lot work.

A bench vice like that is usually a once in a lifetime, if not several lifetimes purchase. It's like an old friend. I may leave an old bench behind because it is too big to move, or built to fit a specific location; but the red vice goes where I go.

That's the best part of buying good tools. They will last as long as I as I'll ever need them.
