Lost Wax - Found
I didn't exactly find the lost wax but I did recreate it. I lost version 1.0 of this Celtic Trinity design when my first casting attempt failed. I had some Wolf gold wax and I had to "weld" two pieces together to get a wide enough blank. I then made a template for the design, pasted it on the wax and in a little over 3 hours I have gotten this far.
It's still rough but it is a lot further along than having "none". The wax color is now gold rather than the original green but that is almost meaningless. The Wolf gold is a bit harder but carves and files well.
Green wax is on order but this is working just fine.
