Woodcarving

Wow! No posts here since January. I have been keeping busy though. Recently I have been considering going back and exploring one of my old interests. It's doing hand wood carving. No Solicitors

Here is a little sign I whipped up in Aspire (Vectric) for my front porch. This is a picture from the software but the actual sign presently looks exactly the same. Figuring on This (The Low Workbench)

 I am in the process of designing and adding a lower level working surface to my main workbench. The main bench is 36.5 inches high and that is a great height to work at the bench while standing or sitting on a stool. Pecan Wood

  A coworker in my office cut down an old pecan tree on his property. There are lots of them around in this part of the country so pecan is not an endangered species.
