Seen Enough?

I have come to the end of the lost wax carving/casting process photo sequences. (Unless I hear a demand for more ;) )The process is repetitive and I have done enough photos to show that it is repetitive. The subjects change so I will continue to show my newest finished pieces. The photo here is a current WIP (Work In process).

When I do something really different and I take the time to shoot a sequence, then a sequential how-to may pop up again. I already post my finished silver work on both Dimensional Art Org and KautzCraft. The latter website contains a photo album type display with no “show and tell” process photos.

If I get an assistant photographer to do the photo shooting or perhaps a video, I would like to do a series on the investment mixing, vacuuming, pouring, 2nd vacuum and into the kiln for dewax and investment burn out. After that I’d like to show the silver melt, pouring and quench.

All those steps are timing critical and I can’t stop the process to take photos.

I am sure the casting sequences I mentioned above are posted by someone on YouTube or the internet somewhere. I would like to do my own, just because…
