Hi Quality 3D

The next workshop tool is a Wanhao DLP 3D printer. It is a very high resolution 3D printer that uses UV light sensitive resin to create solid 3D objects. My action plan is to test run it for awhile until I master or fully understand the operation and it capabilities. Then it will be used for making master models of the things I want to cast in silver using the lost wax process. In this case it will be the lost resin process. Ha!

So, unlike my other 3D printers, this new one will be primarily for my metal working projects. The 3D printing process should be able to create items in detail that can not be modeled by other processes. I mention it here in this blog as I am not sure where I will be posting my experience with this new process.

The printing may be posted in my 3D printer website, http://rc3dpds.com. The metalwork may be presented here or elsewhere. I'll let you know.
