Liking My Workstation

b2ap3_thumbnail_DSC04664.jpgA couple of posts back I boasted that I had ordered a jeweler's bench to use as my wax carving workstation. True story, and I have been working with it for a few days. I just figured out how to use my PanaVise with the bench and I just published an article in the tools section.

I have many of my wax tools moved into the new bench. I am going to clear some space on the shelves in the back for storing some of the larger tools and bulk wax. It's looking pretty good. I grabbed this pic to show it off a bit. That's the re-carve of the lost trinity carving I am now doing in the gold wax from Wolf Tools.

Looks great Dadio! I'm glad you can carve in cool air-conditioned comfort now!
