It's a third of the way through September.

What I am look for is a break in the weather. Official weather is recorded at DFW airport but the Dallas, TX  area is generally 2 - 4  degrees warmer than the airport. (Urban heat oasis.) The official weather has been hanging around 95-100 degrees so it is not unusual to see urban temps of 105 degrees. My shop usually falls  between the two. So it is hot around here.

I have be dieing to do some wax CNC milling out in the shop on my bell project. However, the temperature just doesn't make it a lot of fun for my body and actually makes the wax soft.

I had to package a couple of orders from my store last night and then I was going to do some work in the shop. No thanks, I was totally damp through and through and ready for the pressing iron by the time I got the two orders packaged. Gimme a break!

The temperature break is supposed to happen tomorrow after a high record setting day today. A cold front is coming. Yeah. This time it looks true. I may have to put a jacket on if it gets down to 80

So what has all this to do with a workshop? Well for me, everything. Some like it hot. For me, not so much.
